EFA Studios is pleased to present the work of Bjarne Werner Sørensen at the conclusion of his three-month residency from April to June in the International Artist Program at EFA. The residency was generously supported by The Danish Art Foundation, the Knud Højgaards Fond and the Grosserer L. F. Foghts Fond.

Bjarne Werner Sørensen's exhibition Soft Collisions is currently on view at Elizabeth Harris Gallery, 529 West 20 St., NY 10011. The exhibition features a series of new oil paintings. All have been created since the turn of the year. The paintings were begun in Copenhagen, where the artist is based, and then completed in New York City at EFA.

The Elizabeth Foundation for the Arts (EFA) is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit public charity. Through its three core programs, EFA Studios, EFA Project Space, and EFA Robert Blackburn Printmaking Workshop, EFA is dedicated to providing artists across all disciplines with space, tools and a cooperative forum for the development of individual practice. EFA is a catalyst for cultural growth, stimulating new interactions between artists, creative communities, and the public. Our mission is maximized by fostering diversity in all its aspects.
